Heeley Street

The Heeley Street project is an amazing project for an equally amazing repeat client. The small Paddington terrace, where she runs her small business, was run down and had been stripped of all the beautiful Victorian charm of years gone by. The brief was to inject life and light back into the terrace.

The ground floor was re-planned by relocating the services from the rear to the middle of the terrace. This allowed a visual connection between the kitchen and informal meeting areas to the landscaped rear courtyard.

The front rooms in the principal building were restored with traditional details and a modern arched motif which was replicated in dividing walls and joinery details alike.

The result is a lovely fusion of contemporary materials such as oak, concrete and steel with a splash of colour and a nod towards the traditional details of a historic Victorian terrace.
