Bellevue Hill House is a complete reimagining of a well-built but dated family home. While the exterior structure was solid, the interiors no longer supported the needs of a growing and busy family. Spaces were compartmentalised, circulation was awkward, and the home lacked the functionality and cohesion the clients were seeking.
What began as a focused brief—to redesign the kitchen and introduce a more practical butler’s pantry—quickly evolved as the clients recognised the full potential of an integrated design and build approach. Through early conversations with our team, the scope expanded to include a comprehensive replan and refresh of the entire home.
The upgraded design and replanned spaces now includes a generous, light-filled kitchen and living area, reconfigured bedrooms, each with ensuites, improved circulation throughout, and a revitalised wellness spa and sauna retreat. Across the project, natural materials, thoughtful detailing, and carefully considered spaces bring a calm, contemporary expression to this family residence.
Bellevue Hill House stands as a testament to the value of a collaborative, integrated approach—balancing design, practicality, and longevity for a family’s home next chapter.
